JBS USA Donation Helped A Woman’s Place Support Domestic Violence Victims

The mission of A Woman’s Place is to empower victims and survivors of domestic abuse so they could become safe, secure, and self-reliant; and through education and collaboration, to mobilize the community to help prevent domestic violence. In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home orders, incidents of domestic violence increased nationwide, often straining such organizations financially as they dealt with greater demand for services. This investment helped A Woman’s Place purchase a new van for transporting victims, as well as supplies for the shelter.
